oh, canada!
Sabs and I returned from Montreal yesterday evening after a long weekend in the blistering, muggy sun, watching the Formula One Grand Prix of Canada. We had an absolute blast, despite sweating straight through countless sets of clothes due to the unseasonably hot weather that covered the northeastern US and southeastern Canada.
Still, I got a number of great photos, which are now posted up over in the Canadian GP section of the gallery. In preparation for the trip, I picked up a new Sigma EX 70-200mm f/2.8 lens and Kenko TelePlus Pro 300 DG 1.4x teleconverter. Let's just say that I'm beside myself with the quality of the photos that I was able to shoot with these new pieces of glass.
My favorite shot of the weekend is probably this one, of Felipe Massa driving his Ferrari-powered Sauber/Petronas F1 car through the turn 6/7 S-complex during Saturday's first practice session:
