I feel it! I feel the cosmos!

So, I spent most of Saturday helping Kurt pull his (blown) motor and (intact) gearbox out of his car down in Rhode Island. It went pretty smoothly, and the only injury I sustained in the process was getting stabbed in the hand by Kurt's screwdriver while disconnecting a coolant line. Started at around 1PM, finished up around 6PM. Five hours to get everything out ... not too bad.

Afterwards, Sabs and I headed over to the TCITB compound for a shindig. Upon arrival, e$ was playing Katamari Damashii. Intoxicating soundtrack, brilliant engrish, simple gameplay, and simply the most fun I've had with a video game in a very, very long time.

Sunday, after waking up stuffy, with a dried out throat and a raspy couch, I immediately purchased a copy. I spent the last few days recuperating from said cold, beat the game, and have now healed up sufficiently that I will return to work tomorrow.

In other news, the front half of my new transmission was completed, so all that remains now is to re-attach the extension housing, possibly replace some oil seals, and get everything ready to bolt in over the weekend. I expect, at this point, that I'll be doing the transmission swap at dano's parents' place down in Connecticut. Should only take five or six hours from start to finish if all goes smoothly.

Wee.
