Had a crazy-busy weekend. I went down to Lina's on Thursday to see douGram and DJ Cloudhopper represent LSR spinning some drum 'n bass. Afterward, we all went out for drinks. Friday was my day to go to the Trunkmonkey Compound to enjoy food, games, fun, and beer with some of the Subaru geeks. After getting only two hours of sleep Friday night, we braved the sleet and snow to get down to the Nashoba Valley ski area for the big NESIC meet. After the meet was over, we retired once again to the Trunkmonkey Compound to play more video games. I then went down to Boston and met up with Paco to go see Freezepop at the Paradise Rock Club. After spending the night in Boston, Sunday was yet another trip, this time, back down to the TCITB home... enjoyed some tunes on a sunny, beautiful day out in the grass, then went out for Mexican with the crew. We retired back to the house and watched Arnold Schwartzenegger [sic] films.

Then I found myself back in the office on Monday. Whee!

My helmet showed up from HelmetCity... it's a Bell Mag-5 kevlar composite open-face SA2000 certified helmet, which is nice and lightweight while being incredibly protective for my noggin. The helmet is a touch on the large side (that is, I'm sure I could put up with one that's tighter), but as I plan on using a Nomex hood and allowing for a slightly more afro-styled haircut, the 7 1/2 size is snug, while still being comfortable enough to wear for many hours on a stage.
